Rio de Janeiro Secretary of State for Transportation published in the Official Gazette of June 5, the bidding document (in the form of International Public Competition) for the choice of the new concessionaire responsible for the operation of the waterway transportation of passengers.

According to the new concession model, the winning company must operate, for an exclusive term of 20 years, the water transport in the Bays of Guanabara and Ilha Grande, with vessels with a minimum capacity of 120 passengers.

The delivery and opening of the envelopes containing the bidders' documentation will take place at 10:00 am on August 6 at the Palacio Guanabara (Auditorium of the annex building - Rua Pinheiro Machado, s / nº, Laranjeiras, Rio de Janeiro). The bid will be judged by the criterion of greater grant value.
